BACK July`03 Trip (first few days)

Small trailer, built in motel room,
will be used as fuel truck carrying two 55-gallon-drums.

The new electric starter and the people who installed it (Bill and Mike).
A battery box will be added later in the space vacated by the pony-motor.

The old pony-motor ripped from the dozer with hydraulics and a bit-o-fire.
Those bolt holes (right-center) were the cause of our troubles pulling it out.
Of course, nine experts told us there was nothing under the device holding it in.
Very difficult to see and required squeezing under the entire doser to find and release.
How could CAT not know about these hidden beauties?
It's used by the Pony to (optionally) borrow oil from the Diesel!

A couple views of the entryway cleared out a bit.
: )
Note the blade's left shoulder is disconnected.
Spent an entire day repositioning the blade to angle-right since the right-center-mount was not working too well.
